Insh Marshes – Invertromie Trail

This lovely circuit explores the edge of RSPB Insh Marshes, one of Britain’s most important floodplains. Clear paths lead through birch woodland, meadow and raised viewpoints, with three bird hides offering excellent opportunities to pause and watch the wildlife.

Bring your binoculars

Depending on the season, the marshes may reveal ducks, geese, swans, waders, buzzards and ospreys. There are some steps and rougher sections, but this is a gentle and rewarding local outing.
